It takes Investment
Something we have learned throughout our marriage is that it takes sacrifice, and it take an investment.
Not just "an" investment, but you have to always be investing into your marriage.
You have to be eager to learn, learn from people who have been where you are and who have a beautiful marriage today- weither that's 20, 30, or 60 years later.
A decision that we made is to continue learning, and when we get to the point where we don't think we need to learn or change anything, it is in that exact moment when we need help.

It was during this decision, to be teachable and learn from a couple who have a beautiful marriage today that we decided we need to always be learning during this adventure.
Attending their marriage retreat really helped us in our marriage! And we are so blessed that we made a decision to go, and to admit that we do not know everything, and learn from a couple who has been on this adventure for more than fifty years.
They have been through the first year of marraige, they have been through arguments, they have raised children together, they have been through moments of wins, and moments of loss and they have let God use them to be a light in other marriages, to share their story, and their wisdom with marriages today.
You can't get good at something unless you are constantly learning.
You can't expect to be an expert at marraige, if you are not constantly learning and putting work into it.
It's like saying you can complete a knee surgery on someone, but you stopped learning after a month.
Life just doesn't work that way.
And we think when you come to terms that you don't know EVERYTHING, that is when you will see breakthrough in your marriage.
So we challenge you, to find someone who has what you want, who has a marriage that you have always longed for, and learn from them!
You will be suprised at the outcome!
